All application and database tiers of the MarketDeveloper application are sited behind hardware firewall appliances that are fully compliant and certified by the main security certification testing labs. Enterprise hardware firewall devices protect the entire hosted network infrastructure. All hardware meets the certification criteria of: ICSA Firewall, ICSA IPSec, VPNC IPSec, ICSA Cryptography and has a number of additional pending certifications with independent authorities.
Physical Security
Access control is provided by the datacentre infrastructure and access to the datacentre site is strictly controlled, with manned security on-site 24/7. All access points in the datacentre are monitored by dedicated internal security, utilizing individual card swipes, biometric scanners and colour CCTV.
Encryption
MarketDeveloper utilises 128bit SSL encryption. The SSL certificates are requested from and issued by Thawte. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer)
