Sales Consultant

JOB ROLE
• The focus of this role is to develop new sales opportunities for a genuinely innovative web-based CRM solution that substantially improves the performance and ROI of marketing and sales in our blue-chip client companies.
REPORTING TO Managing Director

MAIN ACTIVITIES
• Strategy understand and segment the company’s target markets and the Sales strategy linking this to an understanding of the prospects market, business strategy and drivers. Using needs analysis to drive a value based sales approach. Initiate, develop and close sales opportunities
• Relationship Management working internally with Marketing and lead generation, delivery and service teams to initiate, develop and close opportunities. Identify and engage the correct level of authorities within our target customers. Work with these individuals to close and then support.
• Target achievement. It is essential that the chosen individual can deliver both to the company and the customers expectations.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Initiate contact in identified target markets
• Identify opportunities in the market and with specific customers
• Mange these opportunities through a defined Sales process
• Build the internal team and internal commitment to secure the business
• Work with Marketing to ensure an on-going supply of correct quality leads. Use all available channels for this process.
• Use MarketDeveloper to create and manage the Sales process
• Present a monthly Sales Plan to the Managing Director and be accountable for the creation and closure of a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.

QUALIFICATIONS Ideally but not mandatory will be a degree or further education qualification. CIM or similar would be an advantage

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Your level of commercial awareness will be such that you understand common challenges that face marketing and sales teams.

Formal solution sales training is a necessity, and you will have new business experience that encompasses canvassing and detailed needs analysis. You will be used to selling to decision makers at all levels.

Above all, you will be proud of your track record of closing new business.

Create a strong pipeline of and drive revenue growth in target markets against both a software licensing and professional services quota

• Minimum 2 years in a marketing services environment, such as a data-driven agency, where problem solving is second nature to you, and where you will have had a consistently successful sales track record.

• Strong understanding of Marketing and the business environment

• Proven track record of value based sales success in applications and solutions

• Proven ability to manage the entire Sales process from instigation to close

• Proven ability to identify and then work with senior management and board level personnel to secure high value sales

Customer Account Manager

A superb and interesting opportunity has arisen within this dynamic and fast growing software development company. The need is for a Customer Account Manager with Database and Data skills to join our Customer Account Management team.
MarketDeveloper is a hosted software development company, our clients license software from us and we provide a range of Account Management and data services to them under contract. The initial purpose of this position is to support our Customers and their use of our Data services competency within the company.

Requirements:
Any candidate will have at least 2 years experience in Account Management specifically and good communication skills in general. The ideal candidate will have in-depth skills in Database (SQL and ACCESS) and the management and analysis of data including SPSS. A high level of professionalism and good client liason skills will be required at all times as you will often be dealing with household name companies. The chosen candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to add value and grow our client billings.
Very important will be the sort of Data Analysis / Data Segmentation and Profiling skills and the sort of self motivated personality that will allow you to build a new competence and potentially new department, within the company from nothing.
Salary will be negotiable for the right candidate.
